GET UP AND GO (Paton) / BIG SCREEN KILL (Bairnson) (July 77)
UK ARISTA 111
JPN ARISTA IER-20339
GER ARISTA 1C 006-99363
US ARISTA AS 0259

CAN ARISTA AS 0259
AUS ARISTA AR-11587

Their first and last Arista album. There left David and Ian. They seemes to be back to the inexperienced
days and sang this tune with open minds. It is this song that I was captured. The three part harmony
of the introduction straightly goes through the air! And the hand claps come back!! Alan Parsons produced
the album once more, which made it brilliant. This is the last single in Japan.
The B side of the Australian issue is "Mr.Do Or Die".

MONDAY TUESDAY (Bairnson) / EVIL EYE (Paton) (September 77)

UK ARISTA 139

How beautiful this song is! A hard core commercialism is not bad, but Arista should know
what's good in Pilot.

TEN FEET TALL (Paton) / ONE GOOD REASON WHY (Barinson) (November 77)

UK ARISTA 155

The last single as Pilot. After that, Pilot was absorbed into Alan Parsons Project. As for the after
Pilot days, see the Session pages.

And sometimes Thai EPs have great picture sleeves.

SOLO

US(Lyall) / MANIAC (Lyall) by WILLIAM LYALL (September 76)

UK EMI 2515 (PROMO)
JPN EMI EMR-20146

This is mega rare. It took me for 6 years to find a copy. Everyone asked me doubtfully "Does it really
exist? I've never seen before." Even record dealers are no exception. But it came to my house after a
long search. It was my husband who found this single for me at a record convention. He recollects he
felt his fingers trembling with joy for the first time in these years.

NO TIES NO STRINGS (Paton) / STOP AND LET GO (Paton) by DAVID PATON (April 80)

UK EMI 5063

This record surprises almost everyone. They say "David Paton! His solo was released, wasn't it?"
David recorded a slolo album for EMI in 1980, but it didn't see the light of the day since it was not in
Pilot style which was wanted by the record company. This is the only thing from the album.
