      AUNTIE IRIS (Paton/Lyall)
      SKY BLUE (Paton/Lyall)

      produced by Alan Parsons

Their first album. UK and European back covers
have the indivisual pictures of the three, while
US and Japanese have the photos that they are
runnning on shore. Did you notice David's small
    mustache?

US 8 track was added lately.

      difference among various pressings.

(As for the US issue, see JANUARY .)

      There are 4 members' autograghs
just as matrix on the A side of the UK Second Flight.
Does it mean they checked the disc when cutting?
      Thanks,Captain Ahab.

    to tears.

30 years in this !"Lady Luck", "Don't Speak Loudly(single version),
"No Ties No Strings" and "Stop And Let Go"(both are original

His only solo album. You had better have an LP
copy since the sleeve designed by Hipgnosis is so
    much beautiful.

      PASSIONS CRY / DAVIE PATON

1991 WEST COAST WCPCD 1003

    WESTLIN WINDS (Burns/Trad)
    JOCK O'HAZELDEAN (Scott/Trad)
    COUNT THE LAWIN (Burns/Paton)
    CA' THE YOWES (Burns/Trad)
SKYE BOAT SONG (Trad arr.by Bainson)
    SCOTS WHA HAE (Burns/Trad)
    THE HOLY FAIR (Burns/Paton)
    HIRPLAN HARES (Paton)
    THE BONNIE BLUE (Williamson)
    AE FOND KISS (Burns/Paton)

produced by Davie Paton & John Burns

His first solo album. Only few people knows its
existence because he went indies at that time.
But I bet, this is a wonderful one. If it is
neglected because of being independent, what a
shame. A trad album indeed, but it's still Pilot.
Ian and Stuart support him. Ian's performance on
"SKYE BOAT SONG" must be one of the greatest
    among his numerous ones.

FRAGMENTS / DAVIE PATON

1996 KRL CDLDL 1257

    THE BONNIE BLUE BONNETS (Williamson)
    THIS HONEST LAND (Paton)
    FALLIN' (Paton)
    FOR A' THAT (Burns)
    CA' THE YOWES (Burns)
    WESTLIN' WINDS (Burns)
    JOCK O'HAZELDEAN (Burns)
    SCOTS WHA HAE (Burns)
    THE HOLY FAIR (Burns)
    LOCH LOMOND (Trad)

Most tracks are the same as "Passions Cry"? No,
they are all re-recorded. So we may be able to
called it his second solo album. "Fallin'" has the
same melody as "Count The Lawin", but the words
are entirely different. It's trad indeed, but it's
still Pilot, too.

THE SEARCH / DAVID PATON

"David" paton is back! His 3rd solo is not a
trad album, but a pop one. He wrote, played
and produced all the songs. Undoubtedly so
nice an album! Jananese issue is from
COOL SOUND, the catalogue number
is COAP 505. A bonus track for Japan
System is included.
